Privacy policy

When you sign up we keep your email, a secure hash of your password (not the password itself), the dates you signed up and last logged in, and whether you asked for news. They are used only to let you in, and to send news to those who asked for it.

MIDI files, settings and videos stay in your browser and are never sent to us.

To stop password guessing we keep a hash of your IP address for up to an hour. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Inside the site, once you are logged in, fonts load from Google Fonts and piano samples from jsDelivr, so they see your IP address. One cookie keeps you logged in. Cloudflare counts visits, without cookies and without identifying you. There are no ads.

You can turn news off or delete your account at any time, on your account page.
